What services do you provide?

We provide complete hearing care for the Upstate. This includes hearing evaluations, hearing protection & ear molds, hearing aid selection and fitting, hearing aid rehabilitation including reprogramming old devices, and tinnitus education, treatment and management.

How much are Hearing Aids?

Pricing varies, based on the technology and your needs and hearing loss.  Sound Hearing Care offers a wide variety of hearing instruments with varying levels of technology and pricing to fit all budgets.  We also offer 0% financing for up to 24 months, for those needing a smaller monthly investment.  Have a viable and working hearing aid, we do trade-ins as well!

What's different about you?

Sound Hearing Care is a locally owned and a private practice, we're not a franchise.  Franchises buy their hearing aids from the manufacturer, then sell them as a private labeled brand for a higher price.  Examples would be Miracle Ear, Nu Ear, Beltone and Accuquest.  Franchises limit your selection to only one brand and own the programming software. This means that ONLY the franchise can work on your hearing aids and adjust your programming.  There are only 6 major manufacturers that make ALL the major hearing aids on the market, so typically you are paying more than you should and getting the same technology we all offer.  It's best to buy from a practice who buys direct from the manufacturer and not through a franchise which adds to your price.

What is your return policy?

Experience peace of mind with one of the LONGEST return policies available in the Upstate 90 day return policy after your fitting. Our goal is for you to get the best hearing care possible and to partner with you throughout the process!

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Please bring completed patient forms, your insurance card, copies of hearing tests (if you have one), and if you have time a list of questions you may have for our hearing experts.
